The numbers are in for this week’s episode (Apr. 26) of Impact Wrestling, and viewership dropped for their Redemption pay-per-view fallout. The audience was 308K, all the way down from 373K.
Among the coveted 18-49 demographic, the number dipped from 0.09 to 0.07.
Impact was up against the powerhouse that was the NFL Draft. The NFL’s first night of pomp and circumstance surrounding teams reading names was broadcasted on three different stations and totaled around 11 million viewers.
Impact’s Redemption fallout was never going to be able to really compete. It’d be interesting to know how they would have done with their normal competition after a well received pay-per-view.
Next week they’ve advertised Su Yung vs. Rosemary and an X Division title match between champion Matt Sydal and Taiji Ishimori.
The numbers from the last month:
- This week: 308 / 0.07
- Apr. 19: 373K / 0.09
- Apr. 12: 381K / 0.11
- Apr. 5: 294K / 0.06
- Mar. 28: 399K / 0.1
