Scott Steiner and Eli Drake win the Impact tag titles at Redemption

Looks like Impact wasn’t concerned with Scott Steiner’s unpredictable, and sometimes racist, conference call from last Wednedsay.

Because the Big Bad Booty Daddy, with Eli Drake as his partner, became Impact tag team champions tonight (Apr. 22) at Redemption by defeating LAX.

LAX were without Konnan, who was apparently taken out by someone prior to the match. The way they set it up, it does not sound like it was the work of Drake and Scott Steiner.

Steiner didn’t seem to move too well much of the match, but then again, he delivered a Frankensteiner from the top rope like he did back in the day.

LAX looked to have the match won when they were about to deliver their double team Street Sweeper to Eli Drake. However, Santana decided to go dive at Steiner on the outside of the ring. Eli Drake was able to take advantage and deliver the Gravy Train to Ortiz for the win.

And now Scott Steiner is an Impact champion in 2018.
