The numbers are in for last night’s line up (Feb. 1), and Impact Wrestling’s numbers were up slightly this week. Viewership was 319K this week, which is up from the 310K last week. The rating number stayed the same at 0.07.
This episode was the first episode of the most recent set of tapings, which was also the first from the Scott D’Amore/Don Callis era. Austin Aries won the Impact world title, which was not advertised, yet announced at the same time. While they announced it when it taped three weeks ago, they did not promote it would happen this week.
Next week, they have a Knockout’s title match advertised, but that looks to be more of an aspect larger feud than a big event in itself. The real reason to tune in would be the fallout from the Aries title win. We’ll see then if this episode drew more interest for the newest era of Impact Wrestling.
The numbers from the last month:
- This week: 319K / 0.07
- Jan. 25: 310K / 0.07
- Jan 18: 309K / 0.07
- Jan 11: 276K / 0.06
- Jan. 4: 309K / 0.07
