The numbers are in for Friday night’s line up (Feb. 15), and Impact Wrestling’s viewership was up a small amount this week. The viewer total was 300K, just up from 294K last week. Despite that, the rating number ticked back down to to 0.07, meaning less people in that 18-49 year old demographic tuned in.
This episode featured a pretty loaded card, with an Impact championship rematch, the debut of Brian Cage, and an X Division title match. Given a pretty busy card, the slight increase is a bit disappointing. They were against the Olympics this week, but they were against Olympic programming last week too.
They already have some matches advertised for next week, but none as big as a world title match. There is a #1 contenders match between EC3 and Johnny Impact, which is probably the biggest match advertised given title implications.
The numbers from the last month:
- This week: 300K/ 0.07
- Feb. 8: 294K / 0.08
- Feb. 1: 319K / 0.07
- Jan. 25: 310K / 0.07
- Jan 18: 309K / 0.07
