Chris Jericho’s just ‘hanging and chatting’ with Impact’s management team

With the All Elite Wrestling story floating around - complete with the Young Bucks giving non-denials in response to questions about starting a new company, and Cody Rhodes just being curious about wrestlers not signed to other promotions - most of the speculation regarding friend-of-The Elite Chris Jericho’s future has focused on his possible involvement with that project.

But there’s another rumor which has been floating around since friend-of-Jericho Don Calllis joined the management team for Impact Wrestling, and that’s that Y2J could show up in the former-TNA at some point. The photo Jericho Instagrammed yesterday (Nov. 30) from a dinner he had in Toronto with Callis, fellow Impact co-executive vice president Scott D’Amore, president Ed Nordholm and his dad, NHL veteran Ted Irvine, will fire that talk back up... as the IWGP Intercontinental champ obviously knows...

Before we get to the expected announcements about the Bucks & Cody’s future, the Ayatollah of Rock ‘n’ Rolla has a title defense at Wrestle Kingdom 13 in the Tokyo Dome (well, not if he has anything to say about it, but he’ll probably be there... and he’ll probably drop the belt to possibly end his business with New Japan, at least for now).

Is his next stop Impact? Is this a sign All Elite and Impact could be on friendly terms from the jump?

We shall see. But it already feels like 2019 will be saying “hold my beer” to 2018.
