Impact Wrestling spoilers from Jan. 12: Multiple title matches, how many changed hands?

Impact Wrestling continued their march toward their Lockdown pay-per-view (PPV) with a third night of filming at Universal Studios in Orlando. These episodes, from the first batch under the direction of Don Callis and Scott D’Amore, probably won’t air until late January or early February.

Results are compiled from a variety of live reports, which are subject to a couple levels of interpretation, and final production of the material for airing on television usually changes context, so...

Take these with a grain of salt, is all I’m saying. Still the big matches, winners/losers and story beats are here.

Filmed Friday, Jan. 12:

- Rohit Raju def. an unidentified enhancement talent Stone Rockwell (Xplosion)

- El Hijo del Fantasma def. Braxton Sutter

- After that, Sutter cuts a promo about why he’s not out with Allie, saying she ruins lives (so much for happily ever after in pro graps). Braxton claims to be the biggest star in the company. Brian Cage comes out and wrecks him.

- Rosemary def. Hania; she gets on the mic and says she wants the Knockouts title. Tay Valkyrie appears for a confrontation, attacks and leaves Rosemary laying on the entrance ramp.

- KM is in the ring talking about how he’s an ordained minister and plans to marry Laurel Van Ness to the Knockouts championship. Braxton is back, saying he made a huge mistake last year picking Allie over LVN. He proposes (to Laurel and the belt), but is turned down by Van Ness. Allie comes out and attacks the champ.

- Kongo Kong and Jimmy Jacobs call out Joseph Park. Jacobs wants him to bring back Abyss, and says they were forced to destroy Chandler and the Park’s law offices. “Grandma Jenny Park” is out to chastise Jacobs and Kong for how they treat Joseph. Park comes out and says Abyss is never coming back. Jimmy again refers to taking out Chandler, and says he’d hate it if something happened to Grandma Jenny. Kong attacks Joseph to end the segment.

- One of the episodes being filmed tonight is for a themed-show, “Crossroads”. What follows will be on that PPV-type edition of Impact.

- LAX def. Cult of Lee to retain the Tag titles; described as a good match

- Grand champion Matt Sydal def. X-Division champ Taiji Ishimori and now holds both titles. This match was also said to be very good.

- Allie def. LVN to become the new Knockouts champion

- Bobby Lashley and Brian Cage def. oVe. The match was announced as a tag but started with Lashley alone before Cage entered. Afterwards, Bobby offered his hand to his partner, who just nodded and walked off.

- Kongo Kong def. Joseph Park

- Austin Aries def. Johnny Impact to retain the World title. Described as “a pretty epic match”

- Alberto El Patron is out to give both men the golf clap to end that episode.

- KM def. Sugar Dunkerton (Xplosion)

- Sienna def. Kiera Hogan (Xplosion)

- Eli Drake def. Fallah Baah (Xplosion)
