Impact ratings (Aug. 17, 2017): Viewership up for Destination X & Jim Cornette

The viewership totals and ratings are in for last night’s line up (Aug. 17) and Impact Wrestling’s numbers were up for their live-ish Destination X special. The viewership was 320K, up from the 277K last week. The rating number was stable at 0.0.7.

This episode was taped the same night, featured multiple title matches, and the surprise return of Jim Cornette. While he wasn’t announced, spoilers were out there an hour or so prior. Hell, our own Geno Mrosko tuned in because he heard Jim would show up.

Next week they have a 20-man battle royal to crown a new GFW champion, which had been stripped from Alberto El Patron. While the results are already out there for those who want to know, it is something that will likely interested people enough to possible keep the viewership numbers up.
