GFW’s Impact Wrestling kicked off a weekend of taping around their live “Destination X” episode on Thursday at Orlando’s Universal Studios backlot (aka the Impact Zone). This continues the post-Alberto El Patron direction, and the promotion’s latest makeover, building toward October’s Bound For Glory pay-per-view (PPV).

- Taryn Terrell delivers a promo where she reveals she returned so she can help retire Gail Kim. Kim runs in and chases her off.

- Grado hits the ring to say goodbye, as he’s being deported or whatever. Laurel Van Ness follows to say she’s a changed woman because of him, then gets down on one knee and asks him to marry her. He says yes. Kongo Kong tries to break things up, but Mahabali Shera stops him.
- Eli Drake wins The Gauntlet For The Gold to become the new GFW World Champion!
