Impact Wrestling ratings (Dec. 14, 2017): Viewership tanks against WWE competition

These were bad numbers.

Woof.

The numbers are in for last night’s line up (Dec. 14), and Impact Wrestling’s numbers tanked this week. Viewership was down to 161K from 226K last week. The ratings number dropped from 0.04 to 0.02. This was their worst numbers this year, including the throwaway Thanksgiving episode.

WWE ran Tribute to the Troops at the same time on USA and pulled in 1.4 million viewers. Impact has made sure to avoid all WWE competition the last couple years. This here is why.

It’s a shame because the show was good last night. They crowned a new Knockouts champion in the main event and the Impact title scene is entertaining.

The next two weeks are “Best of 2017” episodes so don’t expect much improvement numbers wise. They are already putting together a big card for their Jan. 4 episode. Then on Jan. 10, their new taping starts with the newest new regime.

The numbers from the last month:

  • This week: 161K / 0.02
  • Dec. 7: 226K / 0.04
  • Nov. 30: 255K / 0.06
  • Nov 23: 169 K / 0.04
  • Nov. 16: 272 K / 0.05
