Impact Wrestling spoilers from Nov. 7: New and returning Knockouts, Thanksgiving hijinks

Impact Wrestling continued their latest week of tapings on Tuesday in Ottawa’s Aberdeen Pavillion, and hopefully the audience weren’t the only ones getting paid.

These results are compiled from a variety of live reports, which are subject to a couple levels of interpretation, and final production of the material for airing on television usually changes context, so...

Take these with a grain of salt, is all I’m saying. Still the big matches, winners/losers and story beats are here.

Filmed Tuesday, Nov. 7 for probable broadcast Nov. 16 and 23, an on future pay-per-view (PPV) specials:

- Moose def. EC3 via pinfall with a discus clothesline (One Night Only)

- Laurel Van Ness def. Traci Spinelli and Madison Rayne for a spot in a match to crown the next Knockouts champ. Traci is the debuting KC Spinelli, and this is Rayne’s return to Impact after leaving over the Summer.

- Taiji Ishimori def. Hakim Zane via pinfall following a 450 Splash

- James Storm def. Tejano Jr. via pinfall following Last Call. Tejano was in control for much of the match but stopped to taunt Storm and the crowd by declaring himself the real cowboy and turned into the finish.

- American Top Team attacks Storm after the match (including King Mo, who is selling the beer bottle shot from Storm with a bandage over his eye). Moose came out swinging a chair to run them off. Dan Lambert says he wants Moose/Storm vs. him and Bobby Lashley to end this feud.

- Matt Sydal def. Tyson Dux via pinfall following the Shooting Star Press. EC3 was on commentary.

- Johnny Impact def. Alberto El Patron via pinfall following Starship Pain. Eli Drake and Chris Adonis appear during the match to encourage Alberto to finish Johnny and the heels end up fighting, which sets up the finish. Petey Williams comes out to help Johnny fight of Drake and Adonis in the aftermath, and the faces stand tall.

- Rosemary def. Traci Spinelli via pinfall with Red Wedding after Spinelli missed a moonsault from the top (One Night Only)

- The Thanksgiving tradition returns! Chef Robert Irvine is out with a big meal, and Jeremy Borash announces the five-on-five match where whoever gets pinned has to wear the turkey suit. KM, Hijo del Fantasma, Chris Adonis, Laurel Van Ness and Caleb Konley vs. Eddie Edwards, Richard Justice, Allie, Garza Jr. and Fallah Bahh. Eddie pins Adonis, who wears the suit after some shenanigans of trying to get away. Chef Robert’s meal was used liberally throughout the match. Eli Drake sat and ate while Laurel hid under the table.

- Borash announces a Six Sides of Steel Triple Threat for the title. Drake will defend against Impact and El Patron.

- LAX (Santana and Ortiz with Homicide & Konnan - still no Diamante) def. Caleb Konley and Trevor Lee via pinfall with their blockbuster/powerbomb combo (One Night Only)

- Eddie Edwards and Dezmond Xavier def. oVe (without Sami Callihan)

- Bobby Lashley def. El Hijo del Fantasma via pinfall following a spear
