Laurel Van Ness vs. Madison Rayne vs. KC Spinelli

This is one of the two triple threats to decide who will fight for the vacant Knockouts championship.

In a match where everyone got a little time to show off (Madison the least), KC delivers an Electric Chair onto LVN onto Madison. However, Laurel still able to hit the Unprettier onto Spinelli for the 1-2-3.

Laurel Van Ness wins, going to the finals of this mini tournament

Hakim Zane vs. Taiji Ishimori

Hakim Zane is the winner of that Global Forge bit.

Very fast stuff early on. Zane has a bit of a run on offense and looks very impressive. However, Taiji Ishimori drops Hakim on his knees and then hits a 450 for the win!

Ishimore def. Zane

Right after the match, Trevor Lee and Caleb Konley attack Ishimori! (These guys were on the losing effort of a 6 man tag a couple weeks back - and it was kind of Konley’s fault.)

Backstage, James Storm cuts a promo and he’s super hyped, talking about how he’s THE Cowboy and that when he’s done with Texano, he’s coming for American Top Team.

In the LAX club house, Konnan says they have a problem with Sami Callihan and asks Homicide if he’s going to handle it. Homicide says he will. They talk about nasty ways they can take them out and then get their tag titles back.

Sami Callihan vs. Randy Myers

This takes place at Defy Wrestling in Seattle, which will be coming to the GWN soon.

This isn’t the full match, but the clips we get are long enough to see some action. In the end, it is Callihan who gets the win with a big lariat.

Callihan def. Myers

Alberto El Patron is interviewed backstage. He calls Johnny a little kid while he’s a man. The reason he came back to destroy and what better way than kicking Johnny’s ass. After the interview is over, the camera pans over to see KM beating up a random dude and shouting “Is that enough, ATT?” He goes after a couple other guys just standing around too.

KM then finds ATT who are making their way to the ring for the next match and they aren’t impressed with him beating up a couple guys.

James Storm vs. Texano

Early on, when they’re fighting outside, Texano drinks some of Storm’s beer and spits it in his face.

That doesn’t give Texano the advantage immediately, but sliding out of the ring while Storm is on the apron, pulling him down and clotheslining him does. Texano tosses the Cowboy onto the entrance ramp.

Storm able to finally fight back but is struggling to get Texano up for Eye of the Storm. When he does, Texano escapes and delivers a superkick of his own. He follows up by putting a cowboy hat on to pose and gets a Last Call Superkick from Storm for being stupid. 1-2-3.

Storm def. Texano

After the match, he is blindsided by Lashley along with the rest of ATT. One of the dudes drinks some of Storm’s beer and spits it at him. (It’s the guy who got the bottle broken over his face a couple weeks ago.) They get Storm into the ring and that guy, who’s wearing a neck brace, asks the rest of them to leave Storm to him and gets a Last Call Superkick! However, the rest of the ATT ambush.

Finally, Moose makes his way out with a steel chair. Most of them bail, but one dude stays in to take a chair to the back.

Lambert gets on the microphone and says he’s had enough of this. He wants to end it next week. Moose and Storm vs. Lashley and Dan Lambert?? ATT seems to find that move weird.

We see a Park, Park, & Park ad, including Chandler Park (who is Ethan Page).

They show a portion of a GWN match of WWE’s Kurt Angle facing WWE’s Samoa Joe. Kurt Angle actually pulled the straps down and then later pulled them up just to pull them down again. He tapped Joe with the Ankle Lock.

McKenzie Mitchell interviews Johnny Impact, who’s left arm is taped. She asks if his arm is 100% and he says it’s not. He tells Patron that Alberto’s biggest problem is him.

Backstage, Eli Drake is interviewed backstage. He makes it known he’ll be watching closely tonight. He’s got two tickets that he’s got to punch. He and Adonis walk by Jimmy Jacobs, who have a quick stare down.

Matt Sydal vs. Tyson Dux

EC3 is on commentary. He talks about how Sydal doesn’t have that killer instinct. And that he is the guy in this company who feels he should be monitoring the roster.

Dux is able to eventually ground Sydal for a bit. But Sydal able to hit a knee when up in a suplex and starts picking up the pace.

Eventually he hits a knee to the face and the Shooting Star Press for the win.

Sydal def. Dux

After the match, he stares EC3’s way.

They announce next week, it will be EC3 vs. Sydal for the Grand Championship.

Alberto El Patron vs. Johnny Impact

The match stats out quickly, with both men showing aggression.

Patron gets the advantage when the match spills to the ringside. He tears apart Johnny’s sunglasses and then tosses Impact into some chairs.

Patron is in charge most of the match but Johnny eventually fights back. He goes for his Impact Elbow when Patron pulls the ref in front. The ref goes down and Alberto punches Johnny low.

Patron revives the ref, hits a DDT, but Johnny kicks out.

Alberto hangs Johnny in the tree of woe and untapes Johnny elbow, shoving the tape in his mouth. As he goes to the top, Champion Eli Drake makes he way out and starts mouthing to Alberto. And Patron delivers a right hand to the champ and the hits him with the championship.

This time allows Impact to sit up from the Tree of Woe, pull Patron into the ring, and hit Starship Pain for the win!

Johnny def. Alberto

Right after the match, Drake nails Alberto with the title and then goes on to attack Johnny. He is about to hit Impact with the title but Johnny fights back. Adonis runs out to take out Impact from behind.

As he’s about to nail Johnny with the title as Adonis holds him, Petey Williams runs through the crowd! Code breaker to Drake and then a suicide dive to Adonis! Impact is up and hits a superkick to Drake and then Canadian Destroyer!
