The numbers are in for last night’s line up (Nov. 9), and Impact Wrestling’s numbers dropped for the Bound for Glory fallout show. Viewership dropped to 250K from 275K. After a week at 0.06, the rating number dropped back to 0.04. This episode was not in the top 150 cable shows from last night either.
This isn’t great for Impact as the post PPV episodes usually do their best numbers. Even though this wasn’t live, it was taped just earlier this week and featured the follow up from their big show on Sunday.
The NFL game was on basic cable again, so that could have affected them as more people were able to watch the game. But Impact has been against other nationally televised games and has performed better. The fact that a PPV fallout show isn’t moving the needle isn’t a good sign when it comes to new interest in their product.
They’re already advertising a world championship match for next week between Eli Drake and Petey Williams so we’ll see if that makes any difference.
The numbers from the last month:
- This week: 250K / 0.04
- Nov. 2: 275K / 0.06
- Oct. 26: 231K / 0.04
- Oct 19: 267K / 0.07
- Oct. 12: 279K / 0.07
