Impact Wrestling ratings (Oct. 26, 2017): Viewership takes a big drop

ImpactWrestling.com

The numbers are in for last night’s line up (Oct. 26), and Impact’s numbers showed a significant drop. Viewership was 231K, down from 267K, a drop of 35K viewers. The rating number also saw a significant drop to 0.04 from 0.07.

This is not what Impact wants to happen a week away from their big Bound for Glory pay-per-view (PPV). However, their episodes recently have been very uninspired, last night being no exception. They didn’t advertise anything big for last night and overall their build to the PPV has been lackluster.

There’s no strong competition to point to as a reason for the drop. The Thursday Night Football game a was a dud and didn’t do as well as last week. Impact was lucky enough to go up against the travel day for the World Series. And the NBA game didn’t do as well either.

Next week is the go home show for Bound for Glory. We’ll see if that has any effect on the numbers.

The numbers from the last month:

  • This week: 231K / 0.04
  • Oct 19: 267K / 0.07
  • Oct. 12: 279K / 0.07
  • Oct. 5: 251K / 0.05
  • Sept. 28: 264K / 0.06
