It's WrestleMania week and Triple H has a match on the card so you know what that means. That's right, folks, it's the return of THE ASSKICKER (hashtag not included). Photo via @StephMcMahon.
Can we just have her return at WrestleMania 30 as a surprise entrant in whatever the Vickie Guerrero's Divas Championship Invitational match will be and win the title to kick off a long summer feud with AJ Lee? No? In that case, enjoy this look back at her Implant DDT.
"Somebody just asked me if I would like to take on the Undertaker and beat his (WrestleMania) streak. I would rather retain the WWE world heavyweight championship while taking out the streak. My motivation is to be the best. I have a deep responsibility to leave things better than the way I found them. I don’t want to live off potential, so the first thing I have to do is capture the gold."
From his interview with the Boston Herald. Now you're talking, Roman Reigns.I don't really know the how or the why here but Cesaro is clearly giving Renee Young a run for her money.
"I've never gone up to anybody and said 'hey, look at what I'm doing, I should be a main guy here'. I've always let my work speak for itself and I've always let the fan reaction speak for itself and make it so they don't have a choice but to do what they do with me right? It's not me pushing for me to get this opportunity. It's the fans who have been pushing for it and them saying 'no, this is what we want. We want this at WrestleMania' and WWE has to listen to them. And that to me is pretty cool. People have so much more power than they think and not just in wrestling, in the world in general. A lot of these buildings have got like 14,000 people in this building compared to a couple people backstage who run the WWE. And that's pretty much the ratio of people in the world and people in power. You know what I mean? We have a lot more power than we think. So it's pretty cool."
From his interview with BetweenTheRopes.com. He didn't ask for it, he just went out and got over so big the fans demanded it. There's something special about that.So just ignore everything you've heard the commentary team say and everything you've read on WWE.com. The left hand does not, in fact, know what the right hand is doing.
Proving, once and for all, there are no limits to "The Hulkster's" ridiculousness.
"WWE has come to terms on the release of Luis Ignacio Urive Alvirde effective on March 26, 2014. We wish Luis the best of luck in his future endeavors."
WWE sent that out today, announcing the official release off Alvirde, who played Sin Cara before Hunico took over the character. It's a formality, really, but there it's finally done now.
