Let’s Say Nice Things About... Bullet Club

Now more than ever, the world needs a good dose of positivity. We here at Cageside Seats will do our small part to bring that positivity on a daily basis. Throughout the entirety of 2017, we’ll say something nice about wrestling and everything around it, past, present, and future.

As a reminder, only positive comments are allowed here. No negative comments, no troll comments, no back-handed compliments. None of that here. You have the rest of the site for that. Any comments that are not in the spirit of this feature will be flagged, deleted, and posters of said comments may be subjected to a ban.

Today’s subject: New Japan Pro Wrestling’s resident heel faction/nWo tribute band, Bullet Club.

Make no mistake, in its current form, they are exactly that: an nWo tribute band. Nothing wrong with that, mind you, as long as you play the hits, and this group has done just that. The group is partially responsible for New Japan crossing over to American audiences, and for that they should be commended.

Including being a license to print money, the group has boasted quite a who’s who of wrestling in recent years: Prince Devitt, Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, AJ Styles, Kenny Omega, Adam Cole, and the Young Bucks to name a few. Plus Bad Luck Fale and Tama Tonga, the only two men to have been a part of every incarnation. That’s a pretty strong group.

Your turn. Say something nice about Bullet Club.

Got a suggestion for a future “Let’s Say Nice Things About...”? Hit me up on the Twitter gimmick @notoriouseddie. I may not always respond, but I will read it.
