Let’s Say Nice Things About... Cody Rhodes

Now more than ever, the world needs a good dose of positivity. We here at Cageside Seats will do our small part to bring that positivity on a daily basis. Throughout the entirety of 2017, we’ll say something nice about wrestling and everything around it, past, present, and future.

Well, this guy had a night last night (not me, obviously. The guy on the featured pic). Today’s subject: new Ring of Honor World Champion “The American Nightmare” Cody (Rhodes).

I’ll say this: he certainly cares for a lot about his father’s legacy, as well as his own. Cody realized his WWE career was at a dead end with little or no hope of upward movement. He could have been satisfied with the paychecks, but he took a chance by hoping to enrich his career elsewhere.

He also has a gorgeous wife.

Will WWE take him back? Who knows. But to say he’s doing just fine without him is an understatement.
