Let’s Say Nice Things About... WWE 2K17

Paul Heyman on Twitter

Now more than ever, the world needs a good dose of positivity. We here at Cageside Seats will do our small part to bring that positivity on a daily basis. Throughout the entirety of 2017, we’ll say something nice about wrestling and everything around it, past, present, and future.

As a reminder, only positive comments are allowed here. No negative comments, no troll comments, no back-handed compliments. None of that here. You have the rest of the site for that. Any comments that are not in the spirit of this feature will be flagged, deleted, and posters of said comments may be subjected to a ban.

If you haven’t heard the news, WWE is releasing themselves another video game in about four months. The 2018 (or 2K18 if you will) model will star Seth Rollins, making him the first full-timer cover guy since John Cena in 2015.

Today’s subject is the current model, WWE 2K17.

I’ll start. Huge step up from 2K16, and I thought 2K16 was okay. Love the huge roster (which includes the Four Horsewomen and Asuka and Alexa Bliss and pretty much everyone you want to play as, including Allen Jones Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura).

Also, no story mode, which is a plus for me. I don’t have time to do story modes for most games.

I think 2K is hitting their stride with this generation, and I hope 2K18 knocks it out of the park when it’s released in October.

Ok, your turn. Say something nice about WWE 2K17.

Got a suggestion for a future “Let’s Say Nice Things About...”? Hit me up on the Twitter gimmick @notoriouseddie. I may not always respond, but I will read it.
