Let’s Say Nice Things About... Extreme Rules 2017

Now more than ever, the world needs a good dose of positivity. We here at Cageside Seats will do our small part to bring that positivity on a daily basis. Throughout the entirety of 2017, we’ll say something nice about wrestling and everything around it, past, present, and future.

As a reminder, only positive comments are allowed here. No negative comments, no troll comments, no back-handed compliments. None of that here. You have the rest of the site for that. Any comments that are not in the spirit of this feature will be flagged, deleted, and posters of said comments may be subjected to a ban.

It’s been over a week, and honestly, I can’t believe we haven’t done this yet. So let’s close the book on the most recent PPV with today’s subject, Extreme Rules 2017.

This was my first live PPV experience (thanks BaconStrips, Caitlyn, and Chris—I wanna say it’s Chris), and it was a fun experience. If you ever get a chance to see a wrestling show live (big or small), go.

That said, the fatal five-way was fun. Chanting things like “delete!” and “obsolete!” and “Brother Ne-Ro!” was also fun.

And considering I had low expectations for the show, WWE did a hell of a job in meeting them. It wasn’t a terrible show, which these days is all I can ask. Baby steps and all that.

Your turn. Say something nice about Extreme Rules 2017.

Got a suggestion for a future “Let’s Say Nice Things About...”? Hit me up on the Twitter gimmick @notoriouseddie. I may not always respond, but I will read it.
