Let’s Say Nice Things About... Trish Stratus

WWE.com

In an effort to bring some positivity to professional wrestling—and the world for that matter—Cageside Seats and its community will say nice things about people and things in wrestling every single day throughout 2017.

A reminder of the rules: only positivity allowed here. No back-handed compliments, and CERTAINLY NO NEGATIVITY. If you don’t have something nice to say, keep it to yourself, or take it elsewhere. Negative comments will be deleted and you may be subjected to a ban. Cool? Cool.

Today’s subject: Well, I thought about me being the subject since today’s my birthday, but that wouldn’t be in the spirit of this feature, as it has to be wrestling-related. So I’ll go with my favorite female wrestler ever (though Asuka’s quickly running up my board), seven-time WWE Women’s Champion and WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus.

I’ll start. Trish may be the best example I can think of in recent memory of WWE taking someone, building them completely from scratch, and have them turn out a legend.

She was one of those people that could turn anything to gold, no matter how mundane or insane.

And by most any account, she’s good people. I mean, how many people you know have said bad things about her? I’ll tell you: nobody.

Did I mention she’s a beautiful woman? Cause... you know, that merits mentioning.

I miss Trish.

Your turn. Say something nice about Trish Stratus.

And if you have a suggestion for a future “Let’s Say Nice Things About...”, hit me up on Twitter @notoriouseddie. I promise I won’t bite.
