Let’s Say Nice Things About... Gimmick PPVs

In an effort to bring some positivity to professional wrestling—and the world for that matter—Cageside Seats and its community will say nice things about people and things in wrestling every single day throughout 2017.

Remember, only positive comments allowed here. Negativity will not be tolerated, and that includes back-handed compliments and troll comments. Any comments that are not in the spirit of this feature will be flagged, deleted, and posters of said comments may be subjected to a ban.

Well, we’re coming up on one (two, actually) if you check your calendars. Today’s subject: gimmick PPVs.

I’ll start. Well, if anything, it breaks the monotony of the PPV schedule. I mean, I can see why WWE did it. They didn’t want all their PPVs to look and feel the same. Yes, I get that it cheapens some of the gimmicks, but that’s another discussion for another place and another day (not this place and this day, so don’t do it).

Two of the ten most important days on the annual WWE calendar revolve around gimmick PPVs: Money in the Bank and the Royal Rumble (arguably the second biggest day of the year in WWE).

Your turn. Say something nice about gimmick PPVs.

Got a suggestion for a future “Let’s Say Nice Things About...”? Hit me up on the Twitter gimmick @notoriouseddie. I may not always respond, but I promise I will read it.
