In an effort to bring some positivity to professional wrestling—and the world for that matter—Cageside Seats and its community will say nice things about people and things in wrestling every single day throughout 2017.
Remember, only positive comments allowed here. Negativity will not be tolerated, and that includes back-handed compliments and troll comments. Any comments that are not in the spirit of this feature will be flagged, deleted, and posters of said comments may be subjected to a ban.
Like I say at the end of this feature daily, I do read suggestions on Twitter on who should be featured in this spot.
@notoriouseddie a good "let's say nice things about" would be okada. He gets a lot of flack oddly.

ChaunceyGosha, that’s a good idea. Today’s subject: IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada.
I’ll start. Remember how WWE used to say if you could chisel a perfect wrestler out of stone, you’d get Randy Orton? That’s pretty much Okada, who in recent years has become THE focus of New Japan Pro Wrestling.
For a good while, Okada had one of the most over moves and the most protected move in wrestling, the Rainmaker, which, is... let’s be honest... a variation of a short-arm clothesline. Booking matters, kids.
Also has an amazing dropkick (I mean, it’s Bob Holly-tier). And that awesome camera zoom-away when Okada does his signature pose.
Okada’s also charitable, donating a portion of his earnings after every win to a children’s cancer fund he started.
Your turn. Say something nice about “The Rainmaker”.
Got a suggestion for a future “Let’s Say Nice Things About...”? Hit me up on the Twitter gimmick @notoriouseddie. I may not always respond, but I promise I will read it.
