Let’s Say Nice Things About... Bret Hart

In an effort to bring some positivity to professional wrestling—and the world for that matter—Cageside Seats and its community will say nice things about people and things in wrestling every single day throughout 2017.

Today’s subject: WWE Hall of Famer Bret “Hitman” Hart.

I’ll start: Bret’s one of the greatest technical wrestlers in the history of the business, and his ability to tell a story in the ring is world-class (for more on this, see his series of matches with Owen Hart and Steve Austin). In the mid-1990s when the WWE was devoid of star power, Bret was a rock for the company. And credit to Bret for speaking his mind about the business, even if many do not agree with his views.
