Let’s Say Nice Things About... Mauro Ranallo

WWE.com

In an effort to bring some positivity to professional wrestling—and the world for that matter—Cageside Seats and its community will say nice things about people and things in wrestling every single day throughout 2017.

A reminder of the rules: only positivity allowed here. No back-handed compliments, and CERTAINLY NO NEGATIVITY. If you don’t have something nice to say, keep it to yourself, or take it elsewhere. Negative comments will be deleted and you may be subjected to a ban. Cool? Cool.

Today’s subject: longtime combat sports commentator and current Smackdown play-by-play announcer Mauro Ranallo.

I’ll start. If there is a form of fighting, there’s a chance Mauro’s called it. Whether it’s boxing, wrestling, MMA, Mauro will certainly bring his all into it. While he certainly brings it every week on Smackdown, his best work has to have been during the Cruiserweight Classic tournament. Dude was amazing.

Also, he’s an advocate for those fighting mental illness (he suffers from bipolar disorder, and has been very open about it on Twitter).

See how easy that is? Now you do that. Say something nice about Mauro Ranallo.

And if you have a suggestion for a future “Let’s Say Nice Things About...”, hit me up on Twitter @notoriouseddie. I promise I won’t bite.
