Like a House Afire (Ep. 8) - Guardians of the Galaxy, The Four Horsemen and how to make 21st century babyfaces

Welcome to episode eight of Like a House Afire, a frequent video-cast that will rundown some hot topics in the world of pro wrestling with opinion and analysis from yours truly.

In this one, I finally get around to talking about Dave Bautista's hit movie, Guardians of the Galaxy, and how it reminded me of 80s NWA (while meandering through a few examples of WWE successfully booking compelling babyfaces over the last few year - and what those examples had in common). The whole rant is a reminder to WWE that they can still get over traditional babyfaces who aren't 100% dicks.

Here's some background on the buzz that drove this episode:

Dave Bautista's performance in GotG, and the film's box office success

The Shield's success as babyfaces, and fan disappointment in Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns not staying aligned

The Garvins rescue Michael Hayes from the Horsemen circa 1985 AWA
