AEW Rampage had better numbers than Collision last week

All Elite Wrestling

The numbers are in for the Jan. 6 episode of AEW Collision on TNT.

According to Wrestlenomics, the latest Collision drew an audience of 402,000 and did a .13 rating among 18-49 year olds. After a week off for Worlds End, AEW’s Saturday show couldn’t keep its momentum going into the new year. Against competition from what was essentially an NFL playoff game between the Houston Texans & Indianapolis Colts, Collision saw drops in both metrics for the first time since December — but at least last week’s numbers are better than what the show was doing in November.

With these numbers, Collision was Tony Khan’s lowest rated show from the first week of 2024. Dynamite’s numbers weren’t great, but the Wednesday show routinely outperforms the Saturday one. The surprising thing is that even the Jan. 4 Rampage beat the latest Collision. Even with a less than star-studded line-up, last Friday’s show pulled an audience of 406,000 and did a .14 in the key demo.

It’s a trend that might continue this week too, since Collision will once be going head-to-head with the actual NFL Playoffs this weekend. The Peacock-exclusive game between the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins is in primetime on Jan. 13.

We’ll see how that goes for the Colliders. In the meantime, here’s a look at each Collision’s viewership and demo rating over the course of its history:
