Deonna Purrazzo and Mariah May have differing viewpoints on their AEW debuts

Dynamite was a night for debuts in AEW. Mariah May finally made her triumphant in-ring debut in victory over Queen Aminata, then the spotlight was stolen by Deonna Purrazzo in surprise appearance to announce she is All Elite. Both stars reflected on the evening with differing viewpoints.

Purrazzo dreamed of this moment for so long. At times, the Virtuosa didn’t think coming to AEW could be possible, but she worked her ass off to get there. Purrazzo felt good to appear in front of her hometown. The goal is winning the AEW Women’s World Championship.

Purrazzo also commented on social media, “Putting your head down & doing the work pays off. This moment was more than I ever imagined it could be. Perfect & surreal. The emotion was real. I am ALL ELITE!”

On the other hand, May was frustrated about Purrazzo’s debut canceling out her own debut. This quick promo is a hoot showing humor, personality, and charisma. With that kind of attitude, The Glamour is definitely a talent to keep an eye on. It won’t be long before it’s all about Mariah.

While we await the next chapter in this story, debate who was the better theme song. First up is, “Throne of Gold,” for Purrazzo.

May’s song is titled, “Evil Glamour.”

Are you backing Purrazzo or May in this battle of debuts?
