Update: It turns out that Christian’s balls might be in trouble too, because Dustin Rhodes challenged him to a TNT title match for next Wednesday’s (Jan. 17) episode of Dynamite. Here’s the promo setting it up and referencing the champ’s balls (and his ass), along with Christian going in on Dustin’s famous dead father:

Adam Copeland has decided to work his way up from the the bottom of the AEW ladder in order to earn another TNT title match against Christian Cage. To that end, he introduced “The Cope Open” last week, which is his version of regular open challenges.
Griff Garrison answered the challenge last week on Collision and took Copeland to the limit in a losing effort. On tonight’s (Jan. 13) episode, it was “Taiga Style” Lee Moriarty’s turn to try escaping the lower card with a shock win over the Rated R Superstar.
Did Moriarty succeed? Of course not! But it wasn’t an easy win for Copeland, and he first had to take out Shane Taylor’s hat with a spear before he could secure the victory:
After Adam forced Lee to tap out for the win, he told Christian Cage that he’s coming for his scrawny ass:
How do you like The Cope Open so far, Cagesiders?
