Jeff Hardy deletes social media post critical of AEW booking

AEW Rampage

Prior to last night’s (Jan. 10) Homecoming episode of AEW Dynamite, Jeff Hardy went on Instagram to post a graphic of the advertised lineup for the show with the following caption:

We,”TheHardys”will not be appearing on this live show called #AEWDynamite. We, “TheHardys”are stuck in the dimension of,”AEWRampage”

This follows comments the Hardy Boys made over a month ago expressing frustration with their AEW booking. At the time, The Hardys did sometimes wrestle on Dynamite, but their job was to put over other wrestlers like The Elite, Top Flight & Action Andretti, and Bullet Club Gold.

The Hardys last wrestled on Dynamite in late November, and have only competed on AEW’s C-show Rampage since making those comments. There was a promo on last Friday’s show where their frustration was acknowledged in kayfabe, and Jeff said, “We just got a huge win on Rampage. Somebody needs to get us on AEW Dynamite so we can boost those ratings!”

With that promo in mind, Jeff’s Instagram post from last night complaining about their absence from Dynamite could perhaps be interpreted as part of the storyline. However, Jeff’s post was deleted overnight, which would seem to indicate otherwise.
