Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks are getting ready for AEW’s Revolution pay-per-view event coming up on March 5, and the House of Black is interested in taking the AEW world trios titles away from them.
Earlier this week, Malakai Black said his group would address The Elite face-to-face on Rampage. I’m a fool, because I took that to mean they would do something more than just the same old “lights out, lights on, lights out again” trick that they seem to do fairly often, where they simply appear and then disappear a few moments later. Unfortunately, that tactic was used once again here, with the AEW commentators describing it as more mind games:
The #HouseOfBlack (@Malakaiblxck @snm_buddy @BrodyxKing @TheJuliaHart) have made their presence known, as they close in on the #AEW World Trios Champions #TheELITE (@youngbucks @KennyOmegaManX)

I suppose this time the House of Black actually advanced towards the ring, so it was a bit more threatening than the last time they did this to The Elite.
Hopefully Malakai will learn a new spooky trick soon, because we’re just one week away from the pay-per-view.
Speaking of Revolution, the AEW world trios title match of The Elite vs. House of Black was later made official for the event. That gives us the following card:
- MJF (c) vs. Bryan Danielson in a 60-minute Iron Man match for the AEW world title
- The Elite (c) vs. House of Black for the AEW world trios titles
- Jamie Hayter (c) vs. Ruby Soho vs. Saraya for the AEW women’s world title
- Samoa Joe (c) vs. Wardlow for the TNT championship
- The Gunns (c) vs. The Acclaimed vs. Jarrett & Lethal vs. TBA for the AEW tag team titles
- Hangman Page vs. Jon Moxley in a Texas Death match
- Ricky Starks vs. Chris Jericho, with everyone banned from ringside
How do you like the way the card is shaping up, Cagesiders?
