AEW Collision spoilers for Dec. 9: Continental Classic dream rematch, Canadians clash, more!

AEW is in Montreal for the first time this week, and changing up their schedule a bit by running back-to-back nights at Bell Centre. The first of those was a Tuesday night Collision taping for the episode we’ll see this upcoming Saturday (Dec. 9).

AEW advertised several matches for the card including a clash of Canadians with Kenny Omega vs. Ethan Page, and the latest Blue League matches in the Continental Classic. Spoilers are out for those and the other things filmed for this week’s Collision. Let’s see what happened...

  • Eddie Kingston def. Claudio Castagnoli in a Continental Classic match. Kingston reversed a pin attempt to pick up his first points in the tournament.
  • Kenny Omega def. Ethan Page via pinfall following One Winged Angel. As Omega walked to the back, he was attacked by Big Bill (Omega & Chris Jericho have an upcoming shot at Bill & Ricky Starks’ AEW Tag titles)
  • Wardlow def. Willie Mack with powerbombs
  • Willow Nightingale def. Mercedes Martinez, then was attacked by Diamante. Kris Statlander came to Nightingale’s aid.
  • Penta El Zero Miedo & Komander def. Cool Hand Ang Parker & Daddy Magic Matt Menard
  • Andrade El Ídolo def. Bryan Danielson in a Continental Classic match, pinning him after a hammerlock DDT. Danielson was bleeding from a cut above his injured eye, so his Blackpool Combat Club teammates came out to check on him after the loss.

Do you plan to check out Collision Saturday night at 8pm ET on TNT?
