Bryan Danielson gets a PPV match for AEW Worlds End

Bryan Danielson is arguably the biggest star in AEW. Unfortunately for the American Dragon, he lost in the Continental Classic tournament to Eddie Kingston. That meant Danielson was not guaranteed a spot on the Worlds End card for December 30. Surely, AEW wouldn’t leave him off the show, right?

Worry no longer. Tony Khan announced the addition of a match for Danielson to compete on the PPV.

Danielson will suit up for 8-man action alongside Claudio Castanoli, Mark Briscoe, and Daniel Garcia against Brody King, Jay White, Jay Lethal, and Rush.

The all-star bout combines the leftover participants of the Continental Classic into one match. As for the other names in the tournament, Kingston will meet Jon Moxley in the final. Swerve Strickland plans on settling the grudge with Keith Lee. Andrade will try to survive redemption at the hands of Miro.

The Worlds End lineup for December 30 currently includes:

  • AEW World Championship: MJF (c) vs. Samoa Joe
  • Continental Classic final: Jon Moxley vs. Eddie Kingston
  • AEW Women’s World Championship: Toni Storm (c) vs. Riho
  • TNT Championship: Christian Cage (c) vs. Adam Copeland in No DQ
  • TBS Championship: Julia Hart (c) vs. Abadon
  • Swerve Strickland vs. Keith Lee
  • Miro vs. Andrade
  • Sting, Darby Allin, Chris Jericho, & Sammy Guevara vs. Ricky Starks, Big Bill Morrissey, Will Hobbs, & Konosuke Takeshita
  • Bryan Danielson, Claudio Castagnoli, Mark Briscoe, & Daniel Garcia vs. Brody King, Jay White, Jay Lethal, & Rush
  • FTW Championship: Hook (c) vs. Wheeler Yuta in FTW rules (pre-show)
  • 20-man battle royal to earn TNT title shot (pre-show)
