AEW replaces a wrestler in Sting’s match at Worlds End pay-per-view

Sting, Darby Allin, and Sammy Guevara returned to AEW last night on Dynamite and were booked in an 8-man tag team match (along with Chris Jericho) at this Saturday’s (Dec. 30) Worlds End pay-per-view against Ricky Starks, Big Bill, and The Don Callis Family.

Here’s the graphic AEW used on TV last night to promote the match.

It looks like plans have slightly changed, because here’s the graphic AEW used for the match a short while ago on social media:

For those of you who are experts at spotting the differences in two very similar pictures, you’ll notice that ROH TV Champion Kyle Fletcher is featured in the original graphic but has been replaced by Konosuke Takeshita in the updated one.

The change actually fits in with the recently unveiled Don Callis Rules, which essentially means any two wrestlers in Don’s stable can represent the Don Callis Family when they are booked in a tag match. Who knows, with crazy rules like that, maybe Powerhouse Hobbs will be replaced by Fletcher by the time we all go to sleep tonight.

Here is the latest lineup for Saturday night’s PPV at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York:

MJF (c) vs. Samoa Joe for the AEW World championship

• Jon Moxley vs. Eddie Kingston in the finals of the Continental Classic for the AEW Triple Crown title

• Toni Storm (c) vs. Riho for the AEW Women’s World championship

• Christian Cage (c) vs. Adam Copeland in no disqualification match for the TNT championship

• Julia Hart (c) vs. Abadon for the TBS title

• Swerve Strickland vs. Keith Lee

• Miro vs. Andrade El Ídolo

• Sting, Darby Allin, Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara vs. Ricky Starks, Big Bill, Powerhouse Hobbs & Konosuke Takeshita

• Hook (c) vs. Wheeler Yuta in an FTW rules for the FTW championship (Zero Hour pre-show)

• 20 man battle royal for an anytime, anywhere TNT title shot (Zero Hour pre-show)
