Timeless Toni Storm steals the show (and also gets a Worlds End challenger)

Ask and ye shall receive... Timeless Toni Storm was back on commentary for the Dec. 20 Dynamite.

Saraya and Riho were facing off for the right to challenge Storm for the AEW Women’s World championship at Worlds End next Saturday, so the Timeless One joined the announce desk. She quickly set up what would a recurring bit during the match, her belief that Taz is known as “The Human Duplex Machine”.

The champ stole the show here, but there was also a pretty important match. Saraya got some offense in after a cheap shot delivered from behind a ringside security guard. But Riho controlled most of the action outside of the picture-in-picture break, and won clean after a top rope stomp and running knees.

Afterwards, Luther carried Toni to the ring. She looked her new challenger up and down with some opera glasses. Riho attacked and had the champ reeling, but Mariah May arrived to take her out with the belt. Storm still seemed unsure who her biggest fan is, however.

Riho vs. Storm joins the Continental Classic finals and MJF’s World title defense against Samoa Joe on Dec. 30’s card in Long Island.
