Adam Copeland was screwed in Montreal last week on AEW Dynamite in a TNT championship match against his former best friend Christian Cage.
On tonight’s (Dec. 16) episode of Collision, the Rated R Superstar commented on his first loss in AEW. He didn’t complain about Nick Wayne’s mom attacking him with the TNT championship belt, because he’s seen every scenario and should have been prepared for it.
When Copeland fought Christian last week, it was all about hurting Christian by taking away his most-prized possession. Adam’s mindset has changed, because now he is focused on adding to his own championship legacy and reminding everyone just who the hell he is.
And with that, Copeland issued a challenge for a TNT Championship rematch with Christian at the AEW Worlds End pay-per-view on Dec. 30, this time with No Disqualifications.
