Enzo Amore’s the only one who benefited from segment setting up Worlds End Tag title match

By beating The Young Bucks at Full Gear, The Golden Jets (Kenny Omega & Chris Jericho) earned themselves an AEW World Tag title shot. Champs Ricky Starks & Big Bill didn’t waste any time targeting the new #1 contenders, attacking Jericho after the post-PPV media scrum and injuring his elbow. They waited a little longer to target Omega, but Bill took him out last Saturday after his match on Collision.

With Jericho back on Dec. 13’s Winter is Coming edition of Dynamite, the Jets called out the champs. What followed was a promo exchange all involved probably would like a do over on. Except maybe Bill’s old WWE tag partner Enzo Amore, who got namedropped as a way for Jericho & Omega to insult Starks.

They’ll have a few more weeks to work on their chemistry. The bottom line is these two teams will face off for the Tag belts at Dec. 30’s Worlds End.

That match joins MJF’s World title defense against Samoa Joe and the finals of the Continental Classic as the only matches announced for the PPV on Long Island.
