Bandido gets bad news, needs another surgery on his injured wrist

AEW Rampage

Bandido has been an official member of the AEW roster for over one year, but he’s been out of action since June following surgery to repair his broken wrist. More specifically, he was diagnosed with a triangular fibrocartilage complex injury.

Earlier this month, it sounded like Bandido’s return to an AEW ring was imminent, but that’s no longer the case. Per Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer, the 28-year-old star suffered a setback in his recovery and needs to go under the knife once again:

“Bad news for Bandido, by the way. Another surgery on the wrist. Yeah, it didn’t heal properly. No, it’s not good at all. It’s really too bad, ‘cause he was like literally ready to come right back, and the bone didn’t heal well, which is really sad. The guy’s got so much charisma.”

This sucks. The bottom line is that Bandido will be out of the ring longer than expected as a result of the setback.
