AEW DYNAMITE RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR NOV. 15

Falling through pages of Martens on angels, feeling my heart pull west. I saw the future dressed as a stranger, love in a space-dye vest, and now I’m here to liveblog this pro wrestling show for you, folks.

The show opens with a recap of the Devil and his men destroying the Acclaimed at the end of last week’s show.

Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley & Wheeler YUTA) vs. HOOK & Orange Cassidy

Fighting out into the crowd before the bell, Moxley hammering punches at Cassidy in the stands, YUTA and HOOK back in the ring and referee Bryce Remsburg calls for the bell!

HOOK with a big Karelin lift, Judo throw, tag to Jon! Cutting HOOK off, working him over, quick tags with Orange on the floor clutching his arm! HOOK gets a Tazplex off, tag to Cassidy, diving DDT takes Mox out! Bear hug / neckbreaker drop combination fights BCC back into it and we go to break!

Back from commercial, Moxley kicking away at Cassidy, he gets fired up, hands in his pockets, pop up into a dropkick, tags made and YUTA and HOOK trade forearms in the middle of the ring! Rolling elbow, stereo kicks, both men are down! Back on their feet, Jon gets involved, Orange cuts him off, to the floor, struggling, shoulder blocks in the barricade!

HOOK with a lariat, fired up but feeling the pain, Moxley takes him down with an Ace Crusher from behind! Death Rider, Wheeler’s got him...

Blackpool Combat Club win by pinfall with the seatbelt pin from Wheeler YUTA on HOOK.

Post-match, Jon Moxley cuts a promo at Orange Cassidy about how he’s gonna grind him into dust and walk out of Full Gear as champion and there’s nothing he can do to stop him.

And so we go to break.

Back from commercial, Tony Schiavone sets the ground rules of no contact on penalty of suspension for the remainder of the year and introduces Shane “Swerve” Strickland and “Hangman” Adam Page.

He asks Swerve how he can justify going to a man’s house and Page yanks the mic away to say it’s because he’s a coward, a fraud, a phony, and a grade-A dumb ass, dumber today than he was two years ago when his dumb ass got fired. Two months ago he said he wanted to be world champion, but he can see in him that he doesn’t have it in him, he can’t cut it.

He’s not the man he thinks he is, and that’s why his fiancee left him and his kids won’t talk to him. He tells Swerve he’s the one who wanted to make it personal, and says he surrounds himself with yes men, and if he wasn’t such a dumbass he’d know Prince Nana is just using him.

He comes out here and does his funny little dance and sells his t-shirts and he makes his living off of Strickland’s back and goes down to the parking lot and spends his money buying weed from a high school kid, but after he beats Swerve’s ass he’s gonna beat Nana’s ass and steal his weed.

Hangman demands Swerve look at him and says he’s not a man at all, he’s a child, and he worked with kids for a long time and he’ll teach him the last lesson of his pathetic life— you should never have come into his house. They don’t need lawyers or cops, because at Full Gear, he’s judge, jury, and executioner, and he’ll take him to serve an eternity at the bottom of hell!

He drops the mic and immediately goes back and picks it up, saying one last thing, tonight’s stipulation is that they couldn’t touch each other, but they didn’t say shit about Nana, and he jumps Prince Nana and beats him down! Security hits the ring and pulls him away but Hangman fights them off! Buckshot lariat on one of the security guards!

Roderick Strong and the Kingdom are interviewed backstage.

Strong says he knows who the Devil is and he wants to tell his best friend, and they video call Adam Cole. Cole says Maxwell Jacob Friedman definitely isn’t the devil and maybe if he’s throwing all these accusations around, Roddy’s the devil. Strong swears on his life that MJF is the devil, Adam isn’t having it and he ends the call.

Red Velvet vs. Skye Blue (AEW TBS Championship Qualifying Match)

Circling, wristlock from Velvet, cartwheel reversal, side headlock from Skye. To a hammerlock, then a waistlock, standing switch, standing switch, O’Connor roll denied, springboard crossbody from Red for one. Arm drags, Blue blocks, a weird long beat of stalemate, off the ropes, Velvet trips her up, standing moonsault for two!

Choking Skye in the corner, off the ropes, dropkick, cover for two! To the floor, Blue in control as we go to break!

Back from commercial, trading nearfalls, stereo kicks and both women are down and out! Velvet with a la casadora bulldog, running knees in the ropes, duck an enzuigiri, off the ropes, Code Blue denied, la casadora again, reversed... SKYEFALL BUT VELVET KICKS OUT!

Off the ropes, rising knee countered, Red with a Tenryu powerbomb... SO CLOSE! Up in the turnbuckles, jockeying for position, Velvet with a release victory roll off the top... STILL NO! Overdrive blocked, roll through, superkick takes Red off her feet! Off the ropes, Blue runs into a superkick in turn, stomp to the foot, Cyclone Kill blocked! A knee sets her up...

Skye Blue wins by pinfall with Code Blue, qualifying for the AEW TBS Championship match at Full Gear.

We get a video package for Miro.about how CJ Perry brings the worst out of herself and the people around her.

And so we go to break.

Back from commercial, Mariah May is outside of Not Toni Storm’s office with RJ City.

They knock on the door, Luther refuses to let them in at first but on a second try he lets them through and May tells Toni what a huge fan she is. Storm says no autographs right now, and after she leaves she tells Luther to book her a tune-up match on Friday.

Jon Cruz vs. Samoa Joe

Poor Cruz fights valiant but Joe just hammers him and sidesteps his hope spot diving splash...

Samoa Joe wins by submission with the Coquina Clutch.

Post-match, Joe introduces himself and says since MJF is in his hood once again he’ll extend his offer of friendship. And trust him, time is limited, because whether he has his friendship or not, he’s Samoa Joe and he is inevitable.

We get a recap of Tony Khan announcing the AEW Continental Classic and “American Dragon” Bryan Danielson’s participation therein.

Komander & Penta el Zero M vs. Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson)

Komander and Nick to start, off the ropes fast and furious, front kick from the young luchador, tornillo into la casadora arm drag, taking Jackson off his feet, blind tag from Penta! A whole sequence of all four men ducking and dodging, kicks lay everybody out, stalemate and handshakes set up a superkick party!

Penta tags in, step up diving crossbody to the floor! Sling Blade on Matt, tope con giro on Nick, and a Sling Blade for him, too! Superkicks back in the ring, Komander with a double DDT off of Penta’s shoulders!

Here It Is Driver... NICK BREAKS IT UP! Komander up top, walking the ropes, Matt sidesteps, locomotion northern lights suplexes! Meltzer Driver blocked, Penta with Fear Factor on the apron! Rana pin from Komander... MATT KICKS OUT! Back and forth, Penta and Matt forehead to forehead, slugging it out with elbows, stereo lariats, pump kicks, thigh kicks, Nick tags in!

Superkick, Komander tags in, low blows from the younger Jackson while referee Rick Knox is distracted! Back elbow from Nick, tag to Matt...

Young Bucks win by pinfall with BTE Trigger on Komander.

And so we go to break.

Back from commercial the Young Bucks are interviewed backstage.

Matt Jackson says they no longer give a damn about rules or what they’re supposed to do.

Kenny Omega rolls up, they reassure him their beef isn’t with him, it’s with Chris Jericho.

Jericho joins them and calls them jackasses, Matt blindsides him and security pulls them apart!

Commentary hypes up ticket on-sale date for All In 2024.

Ass Boys (Austin & Colten Gunn) vs. “Pretty” Peter Avalon & ???

It’s all Ass Boys and they have it in short order...

Ass Boys win by pinfall with 3:10 to Yuma on the one who isn’t Avalon.

We get a Wardlow video package.

Don Callis Family (Brian Cage, Kyle Fletcher, Konosuke Takeshita, & “Powerhouse” Will Hobbs) vs. Golden Lovers (Kenny Omega & Kota Ibushi) & Jeri-Show (Chris Jericho & Paul Wight) (Like a Dragon Gaiden Street Fight)

Chaos early, Wight just absolutely paintbrushing Fletcher’s chest before chokeslamming him off the stage and through a table! Jericho brandishing a milk crate, Takeshita cuts him off, Ibushi with a Frankensteiner on Cage in the ring! Konosuke cuts Kota off, Omega comes in to help, double leap frog, chest kick, Kotaro Krusher!

Stereo dives from Golden Lovers, cut to Paul in the loading bay beating Will Hobbs on a car! Chris wallops Brian with the crate, Omega smashes a board over Takeshita’s back! Barbed wire bat in play, Kenny goes through a board and Jericho goes into the barricade! Kota’s riding a bicycle with an iron pipe and he clocks Callis Family guys until Cage clotheslines him off of it!

Back in the loading dock... POWERHOUSE HOBBS SLAMS PAUL WIGHT INTO A CAR! TAKESHITA SMASHES KENNY WITH THE BIKE! JERICHO, TOO! ONE FOR IBUSHI AND HE JUST THROWS IT AT KENNY! Hooking Kota, Takeshita brainbusters him into the bicycle and we go to break!

Back from commercial, medics still checking on Wight, Omega setting a table up at ringside, Takeshita dragging Chris through the bowels of the arena! Jericho choking Takeshita, Fletcher and Cage setting some tables up, double-teaming Kenny... DOUBLE SUPLEX INTO A PALLET FOR TWO!

Kyle has a beer bottle, Kenny fights loose and hits a V-Trigger on him! Floating over a German suplex from Cage, Dragon suplex of his own! Konosuke choking Chris with a knee, Omega has the bottle and waits for Brian but Kyle cuts him off with an elbow! KENNY GLASSES KYLE FLETCHER WITH THE BEER BOTTLE!

Cage takes him out with a lariat but eats a missile dropkick from Ibushi! Takeshita climbs atop the bar refrigerators, diving... JERICHO WITH THE FIRE EXTINGUISHER AND THE JUDAS EFFECT! Golden Lovers directing traffic, wrists clutched, but Hobbs comes back in and clobbers them both with lariats!

World’s Strongest Slam on Omega, Kyle bleeding from the forehead, Cage wants the deadlift superplex... DEADLIFT SUPERPLEX ON KENNY THROUGH THE TABLES AND TO THE FLOOR! Will with a spinebuster on Kota and we go to break!

Back from commercial, Jericho with a Codebreaker on Hobbs to kick off our “everybody do something cool” section of the match! FLETCHER OFF THE APRON WITH A TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER THROUGH A CONTRAPTION OF TABLES AND CHAIRS TO TAKE IBUSHI OUT! Back in the ring, Judas Effect but Hobbs pops right back up! V-Trigger and the Golden Jets duct tape Hobbs to the ropes!

They tape his mouth shut too, Kota throwing chairs in the ring for them, Cage back in, slam for Jericho, Drill Claw attempt, Omega slips out, V-Trigger, bat shot from Y2J, Poison Frankensteiner! Omega off the ropes, V-Trigger, one for Hobbs too, electric chair on the Machine...

Golden Lovers & Jeri-Show win by pinfall with One-Winged Angel from Kenny Omega on Brian Cage.

And so we go to break.

Back from commercial, commentary hypes our next week of shows.

Maxwell Jacob Friedman makes his entrance and gets on the mic.

He says after the brutal attack on the Acclaimed last week it’s become clear that he can’t run from his past and that every time he opens himself and let’s people in, they get hurt. Sometimes he feels cursed, so what he’d like to say to the Acclaimed is that he’s sorry they got caught in the crossfire and he’s sorry they got hurt, and he hopes they feel better.

He’s spent every waking moment trying to get to the mountaintop and he is proud to say he’s made it, but it’s not all glitz and glam. The air is thin, it’s daunting and lonely, and as he looks down in every direction, he sees men climbing with only the intention to shove him off the top.

He’s man enough to admit that he’s afraid he can lose everything he’s worked for in the blink of an eye and he’s afraid he’s going to let us down. The old him would have tucked tail and ran, but he’s done letting his past dictate his future. So yeah he’s afraid, but he’s not willing to quit or give up his spot at the top of the mountain, and you better send a whole damn army to get his ass to come down off the mountain!

Jay White’s been walking around with a title he hasn’t earned and he has a chance to take the spot but he doesn’t think he can. He doesn’t think anyone can, because his name is Maxwell Jacob Friedman and he’s better than you, and you know it.

And a message to the man who stole his devil mask and hired those goons, heed his words: He’s going to find out who you are and when he does, there will be hell to pay!

Enter “Switchblade” Jay White.

He says Max is gonna make him sick and he should drop the act because he’s embarrassing himself. He’s trying so hard to be the hero but that’s just not who he is. He’s the villain and he always has been, and the devil mask distractions aren’t fooling anyone.

He’s told us time and again that he’s the devil and no one’s on his level, he’s not the hero. He’s not the people’s hero or their scumbag, and his days as the AEW World Champion are numbered.

The Ass Boys hit the ring but MJF fights them off! Juice Robinson joins them, left hand takes the champion out, 3:10 to Yuma connects! Jay rolls Max over and draws him up... BLADE RUNNER!

Bullet Club Gold stands tall and we see Samoa Joe watching on a monitor backstage.

That’s the show, folks.
