Collision’s numbers rose on Oct. 21, but Battle of the Belts’ did not

The numbers are in for the Oct. 21 episode of Collision — and Battle of the Belts VIII — on TNT.

Despite facing competition from college football, baseball’s National League Championship Series, and an Impact Wrestling PPV, Collision saw its total viewership and rating among 18-49 year olds rise from the previous Saturday. The overall audience number of 518,000 was up slightly (3%), and the .16 demo rating was a 14% week-to-week improvement. Both were the best of the month, and second-best since August.

Battle of the Belts aired after Collision, and lost a not-insignificant amount of those viewers. With an audience of 397,000 and a .13 18-49 rating, it was also down significantly (24% in viewership and 13% in the demo) from the last BotB in July.

We’ll see if Collision can close out the month strong this weekend. In the meantime, here’s a look at the viewership and demo rating for every episode of it and BotB in their histories:
