And so we go to break.

Back from commercial, “Hangman” Adam Page is interviewed backstage.

He says it’s been two months since he wrestled but he doesn’t have any timeline right now and the trainer says if he keeps following protocols he might be able to wrestle in about two weeks, but if he keeps trying to pick fights with Mox he might not ever be able to get back in the ring.

The Ass Boys are leaving and run into an interview.

They say they’re in party mode because they’re the best tag team in the world and they’ll address FTR next week.

“Absolute” Ricky Starks is interviewed backstage.

He says he’s feeling a lot better than his good pal Action Andretti, who got fireball’d last week, and he’s gonna get some revenge for him. He appreciates that Chris Jericho sees him as a star, but he’s no experiment, and January 4 is gonna be a master class in Ricky Starks whooping Chris Jericho’s ass.

He’s got a big mouth and a bad attitude, and he’s gonna be the one to take Jericho down several notches, because he can.

And so we go to break.

Back from commercial, Samoa Joe makes an entrance and cuts a promo about how Wardlow isn’t coming down and he tried to find a replacement opponent but—

WARDLOW IS GOING TO FIGHT! He pushes his way through referees and medics and the fight is on!

Samoa Joe (c) vs. Wardlow (AEW TNT Championship)

Right hands, whip and Wardlow’s ginger on the leg and Joe smells blood in the water and kicks at it! Off the ropes into a spinebuster, mounted punches, Mr. Mayhem staying on him! Samoa cuts him down, chops to the chest, off the ropes, big lariat takes him off his feet!

Joe gets a toolbox out from under the ring, fishes scissors out... AND CUTS WARDLOW’S TOPKNOT OFF!

Darby Allin runs in and cracks the skateboard across Joe’s back, a challenge issued!

Allin holds the title up.

That’s the show, folks.
