The main event of a very good All Out PPV was the AEW World title match between Kenny Omega & Christian Cage. Coming into Sun., Sept. 5 in Hoffman Estates, Illinois’ Now Arena, Cage already took the Impact World championship from Omega. Did he have The Belt Collector’s number, or just get lucky?
For the first portion of this one, it looked like it might have been a fluke. The champ definitely had Christian’s number tonight...

It seemed at times like the AEW champ was just showboating against his Impact counterpart. Cage wouldn’t go quietly...

A duel on the apron over another table Omega had set up provided a great deal of suspense before the finish. Christian speared his rival off the apron through the table, then hit two more spears in the ring. He still wasn’t able to get a three count, however.
The Elite’s usual shenanigans came into play. Interference by Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows was thwarted, but another Don Callis distraction helped Omega recover enough to win another match-within-the-match in the corner. A One Winged Angel off the middle rope ended it.
Can anyone dethrone Omega!?!? Stay tuned...
