AEW RAMPAGE RESULTS FOR SEPT. 3

  • Excalibur, Taz, Mark Henry & Chris Jericho run down the card
  • Malakai Black def. Lee Johnson via pinfall. Johnson gave a hell of a fight, but took a kick to the face then was offered a steel chair by Black. He showed Lee his back and baited him into picking up the chair, then put him down with the spinning heel kick.
  • Dustin Rhodes runs in to prevent Black from inflicting more punishment on Johnson.
  • Mark Henry interviews Dustin backstage. He says Malakai Black has relied on surprise throughout his AEW run, but Wednesday on Dynamite, Black will see him coming.
  • TNT champion Miro is out. He talks about Eddie Kingston needing redemption for taking a charity contract. Kingston has become a bag boy for Jon Moxley. That brings Eddie out to say he doesn’t believe in Miro’s God. If he existed, he wouldn’t have shown Kingston that Miro’s weakness is his neck, and all of his moves target the neck. Miro tells Eddie’s he’s getting redeemed tonight, Kingston tells him to redeem DEZ NUTS & rushes the ring, but the champ rolls out. He lures him in and belts him with the belt! Back in the ring, he tries to stomp Eddie onto the belt, but Kingston evades and hits a spinning backfist! DDT to the champ and Kingston stands tall.
  • Kris Statlander def. Rebel & Jaime Hayter when she made Rebel tap. Real powerhouse showcase for Dr. Britt Baker’s All Out challenger. At one point she had both her opponents up for a slam. The heels swarm The Alien, but Red Velvet was out for the save.
  • During a rundown of the All Out card we see Jon Moxley get in Satoshi Kojima’s face at a press conference.
  • Mark Henry interviews the main eventers. 2point0 is tired of everyone overlooking their “son” in their excitement for Darby Allin vs. CM Punk on Sunday. Daniel Garcia says he’s gonna make sure Allin doesn’t make it to All Out. Darby says he’s going thought Garcia and right up the ramp to staredown Punk at the commentary table.
  • “Cult of Personality” time! Punk dives into the crowd, and turns down a beer from a guy who’s either had too much to drink or has never heard of CM Punk.
  • Darby Allin def. Daniel Garcia with a roll-up after hitting Red Code. During the match he hit a Pepsi Twist and locked eyes with Punk, who said “not bad, kid”.
  • After the match, 2point0 join Garcia to put the boots to Allin. Punk tries to leave the clean-up to Sting, but eventually heads down to the ring as the crowd goes wild. He backs Matt Lee & Jeff Parker up, right into a suicide dive from Darby! The All Out foes go head-to-head as Rampage ends.
