As expected, AEW confirmed today (Sept. 27) that their annual November PPV Full Gear will take place in Minneapolis’ Target Center.
The show was originally announced for Sat., Nov. 6 in St. Louis, but competition is stiff that night. UFC has a loaded show from Madison Square Garden, and one of boxing’s biggest stars Canelo Alvarez is fighting in Vegas. Moving the date to one week later to Sat., Nov. 13 forced the change of venue.
#AEW comes to Minneapolis for #AEWFullGear LIVE on Pay-Per-View Saturday, November 13th at the @TargetCenterMN! Tickets start at $29 (plus fees) and go on sale THIS Friday (10/1) at 11 am Eastern/10 am Central at https://t.co/UN1cNiJJrQ! pic.twitter.com/KZjXq0hZsb

Target Center is the home of the NBA’s Timberwolves & the WNBA’s Lynx. It’s also where WWE usually runs shows when in the Twin Cities - including PPVs like SummerSlam 1999, Elimination Chamber 2014, and TLC in 2017 & 2019. Depending on configuration, the building holds roughly between 17,000 - 20,000 people. It’s a big step up from the Full Gear’s original venue: St. Louis University’s Chaifetz Arena seats 10K.
Full Gear, and the preceding night’s Rampage, will be AEW’s first shows in Minnesota. November will also mark the first time AEW will run live Rampage shows on back-to-back weeks; the Nov. 5 episode is still set to take place in St. Louis.
Sound like a good plan to you?
