Last month, Max Caster returned to AEW after a month away from the company.
That time off followed a rap his boss Tony Khan called “terrible” after editing it out of the Dark episode it appeared on. His comeback performance made it clear AEW wouldn’t hesitate to use the controversy in their kayfabe, even while they’d certainly set some guidelines to ensure there isn’t a repeat of what happened during his appearance in Charlotte, North Carolina back in August.
While Caster’s return on Dark earlier this month demonstrated AEW wouldn’t ignore the fact Anthony Bowens’ tag partner was in hot water, it didn’t necessarily make it seem like a feud with Khan was imminent. But maybe it is.
Looks like Khan got up close and personal to oversee The Acclaimed’s entrance during last week’s Dark taping in Newark, New Jersey. And now, Platinum Max wants to hear TK spit a few bars during the “Grand Slam” taping this Wednesday at Arthur Ashe Stadium.

Here's my freestyle from #AEW in Newark, NJ
Our boss Tony Khan didn't really like my rhymes. Well, maybe he can do better...
I challenge @TonyKhan to a RAP BATTLE in Queens, NY at #AEWGrandSlam#MaxVsTony

“The Acclaimed is home, back in the tri-state
Tony give us more rules we only violate
The Jaguars winning the Super Bowl is iffy, but chances are fat kind of like Chris Christy
And we undisputed, cut you off quicker than Suzuki’s music...”
There’s a line that follows about Newark smelling like a sewer, but I couldn’t make it out over the “OHHH”s following the Suzuki Incident reference.
I think Caster is probably the only one who wants to hear Tony’s flow, but if I’m wrong about that, it wouldn’t be the first time that happened.
Let us know if you want the Tony Khan/Max Caster edition of Verzuz.
