We need more than a minute of Miro & Eddie Kingston TNT title promos

As my main man Manolo laid out in his Recap & Reactions, the Sept. 1 Dynamite was another great showcase for the AEW roster’s microphone masters.

Sting got us even more hyped for CM Punk vs. Darby Allin at All Out. Chris Jericho & MJF each took over an interview to sell their animosity toward each other and the gravity of the stipulation Jericho placed on their “Final Fight” on Sunday. Jon Moxley paid respect to and said some cold $#!+ about what he’s gonna do to another Japanese legend.

This 50 seconds from two of my current favorite talkers really stood out.

The Miro/Eddie Kingston All Out TNT title program came together kind of late, and probably isn’t yet deserving of the time a long-running story like Jericho & MJF’s got. But I hope it continues so we get more chances for these two to drop lines like “Take my hand, we’ll walk through hell together - and maybe after that, you’ll get to go to your God’s heaven” and “The Mad King will realize that redemption comes only after agony - and I’m coming to bring both.”

We’ll see what happens during Miro’s moment on Rampage, and in the weeks after All Out.

For the rest of last night’s highlights, as is AEW’s model these days, YouTube videos are being doled out slowly. But we’ve compiled what they’ve released as of this morning in this playlist, and tried to catch you up with the rest of the episode via Twitter clips below that.

  • Did FTR and Santana and Ortiz Settle Things Once and for All?
  • What happened When CM Punk & Darby Allin came Face to Face?
  • Anna Jay is back and she made an Immediate Impact
