Anna Jay could have used some Dark Order back-up on Rampage

New, 8 comments

Dark Order’s been a mess since Hangman Page paid the price for his decision to go it alone against The Elite. Anna Jay’s tried to get her “brothers” on the same page since returning at All Out, but her initial attempts at peacemaking haven’t gotten her anywhere.

This week, Anna tried some tough love, telling Evil Uno, Stu Grayson, John Silver, Alex Reynolds, et al that if they couldn’t get on the same page, she didn’t want them ringside for her match against The Bunny on the Sept. 17 Rampage.

During the match, that worked out pretty well. Jay picked up a win after Tay Conti neutralized Penelope Ford. Afterwards, however, the Hardy Family Office-affiliated duo had a few tricks up their sleeves. Or Ford had one in her pocket, anyway...

Dark Order wouldn’t have thrown down Penelope or The Bunny, but they could have run interference against the other HFO members loitering ringside. Probably could have pulled Jay & Conti to safety before the ate a fistful of brass knucks, too.

What will it take to get DO back on the same page? Or is one of AEW’s original stables doomed?

While you ponder that, here are the highlights from Rampage:

  • Anna Jay & The Bunny Take Their Rivalry to the Next Level
  • God’s Favorite No More? What did the TNT Champ do to Upset the Spanish God?
