As for the latest additions to the card, the #1 contender bout was formed with the final men remaining in the battle royal won by Brian Myers. The mixed tag match is a way to advance the feud between Deonna Purrazzo and Melina before their Knockouts title fight at NWA Empowerrr on August 28. Taylor Wilde has the chance for payback after Madison Rayne returned from retirement to cost her a match against Tenille Dashwood. Rohit Raju trifled in Matt Cardona’s business, so there must be repercussions. The 8-wrestler team contest was brought about by Tasha Steelz’s desire to regain the Knockouts tag gold from Rosemary and Havok.
