Sting’s first TNT match in 20 years was a Texas Tornado match, which I thought just meant all members of the tag teams involved are legal. But AEW, as they are wont to do, had a more liberal set of rules for Sting & Darby Allin vs. 2.0 in Houston on the Aug. 18 Dynamite.
This was a full on no disqualification affair, which made Matt Lee, Jeff Parker & Daniel Garcia’s decision to attack Jon Moxley & Eddie Kingston before the match even more questionable.
But as expected, the big takeaways from the match were the crazy spots from Allin...
