Hangman comments after time off reports, shares return plans

All Elite Wrestling

We’ve heard and reacted to the reports Hangman Page losing his #1 ranking and being written off Dynamite with an Elite beatdown meant he wouldn’t be on the card for Sept. 5’s All Out. Many surmised he’d be taking time off because his wife is due to give birth to their first child, and the latest word confirms that.

We hadn’t heard from the anxious millennial cowboy himself, though. That changed last night, after PWInsider’s story that Page’s current hiatus was the plan all along.

I may very well be among the people the ass-eating directive is aimed, but like most who were talking about the initial reports of Hangman being removed from AEW’s World title picture, it’s because I’m so excited by the story they’re telling, and his performance in that story.

So without spending any more time discussing Page’s personal life, I’ll just say I’m pretty pumped for Hangman to ride back onto Dynamite and come after Kenny Omega (assuming he still has the AEW strap when Page comes back).

I’ll be ready for some Cowboy Shit.
