During The Elite’s win over Dante Martin & The Sydals at the start of the Aug. 11 Dynamite, the AEW announcers somewhat casually revealed that Christian Cage would challenge Kenny Omega for the World title All Out.
Once Martin was done wowing the Pittsburgh crowd, and Omega & The Young Bucks were done crushing his dream of an upset, Don Callis got on the microphone. That brought out Cage, and the newly #1 ranked Jurassic Express for a showdown between champs and challengers.
The segment confirmed the All Out title bout - and announced two more!
First, after Callis mocked the notion Christian would challenge for Kenny’s title in Pittsburgh, the veteran pointed out that the Belt Collector has several belts. He talked to both AEW President Tony Khan and Impact head man Scott D’Amore, and they decided Omega would defend a title in Western Pennsylvania... an Impact title match will be the first match in Rampage history this Friday!

While I’m still hoping for a swerve that gives us Hangman Page for the AEW World championship on Sept. 5 in Chicago (the crowd at Dynamite tonight was also interested in some Punk as an alternate), I do love Christian. And I’m looking forward to all these title matches. You?
