Frankie Kazarian hunts Kenny Omega & the Elite on Impact

Ever since SCU took their final turn together in a cheating loss to the Young Bucks, Frankie Kazarian has made it his mission to hunt the Elite in AEW. Kaz’s objective spilled over into the Impact Zone when he ambushed Kenny Omega and the Good Brothers tonight on Impact Wrestling (July 29, 2021).

It all started innocently enough with Scott D’Amore being too preoccupied to deal with determining Omega’s next title challenger. He handed that assignment over to Tommy Dreamer.

Don Callis and Omega were in a great mood. That changed when they learned of Dreamer’s plan for a #1 contender battle royal. Omega was irate and took his anger to the ring.

Omega was in no mood for mouthy fans. He was close to punching a women when she taunted him. Thankfully, Omega bottled his rage and did not resort to violence.

Sami Callihan interrupted the Elite’s promo. He still has business with Omega and plans to earn another title shot by winning the battle royal. In the meantime, Callihan just might get his hands dirty.

Boom! Kaz appeared from the other side to ambush the Elite. Callihan made sure the numbers did not take the Elite Hunter down.

Dreamer was also put in charge of filling out the trios team to compete against the Elite. Despite Kaz’s request to team with the Innovator of Violence, Tommy had a better option in mind.

The trios match was made for next week with Omega and the Good Brothers against Kazarian, Callihan, and Eddie Edwards.

Callihan’s comment, “Never gonna go for it,” was in reference to being enemies with Edwards dating back to when Callihan broke Edwards’ face with a baseball bat in a spot gone wrong.

It’s never an easy day for Kenny Omega in the Impact Zone. Are you excited to see Kaz return to Impact? What would you like to see from him as the story Elite Hunter unfolds?
